Neurivo offers an internationally recognised team of experts to address unmet industry need in drug and nematicide discovery.
We are an academic collaboration between neuroscientists in the Centre for Biological Sciences and engineers at the Institute for Life Sciences, University of Southampton.
Our combined expertise in genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, physiology, electrophysiology and microfluidics and decades of working with industry to solve problems around mode of action and toxicology is now made available more broadly to the agrochemical, animal health and pharmaceutical sector through the Neurivo Impact Unit.
We have a wealth of experience of experimental research with nematodes and in the broader area of neuropharmacology and biochemistry spanning the invertebrate through to mammalian systems. This provides a depth and breadth of knowledge base that has supported long-term, trustful collaborations with industry since the 1980s. The group has an excellent track record of successful collaborations with Pharma, Animal Health and Agrochemical sectors.
